IT Digital Development Manager Full Time
Design & implement the Digital strategy for International Company in Puerto Rico executing a targeted plan to transform the Company’s IT infrastructure and it’s Digital Development assessing how The Company can prioritize and better manage business critical projects to drive development and growth. Direct a wide and diverse range of IT infrastructure Development and ecommerce projects. Provide architecture expertise in building critical solutions across multiple digital channels. Define the technical solutions manage key technical risks & help shape the delivery of Company solutions. Proactively manage with the NA team all possible dependencies across project timeline and introduce optimizations which will reduce dependencies and increase team success. Leading IT projects.
Work with Business to provide input into the long term e-commerce strategic plans and assist in implementing them in the e-commerce architecture.
Analyze user requirements procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities workflow and scheduling limitations.
Undertake the development maintenance and governance of the e-commerce architecture.
Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow
Research new technologies to optimize the current solutions and make them sustainable for the future applying in-house standards and market best practices.
Prepare detailed project plans and strategies for the implementation of engagement within the standards of project management methodologies.
Gather business digital requirements and translate them to technical solutions and improved systems design
Examine business processes to determine how they could be automated.
Support project initiatives including identifying and analyzing preliminary business needs budget considerations timeline and resource estimates defining the project scope and objectives and securing business user approval.
Communicate to all levels of management project milestones status updates as well as any existing or potential customer escalation issues.
Proactively follow escalation and change control processes clearly communicate project impact.
Lead IT team to deliver plans engage in development and provide exceptional cross-functional support.
Provide direction to project teams including assigning individual responsibilities tasks and technical functions.
Act as the key liaison across functional areas including business units information technology and external vendors.
Experience Preferred
- 3 year(s): Experience in a Project Manager role.
- Magnolia CMS experience (preferable)
- 3 year(s): Experience with Oracle SQL MS SQL Server.
- 4 year(s): Experience with VB C# and Java.
- 5 year(s): Development experience with .NET ASP.NET and Visual FoxPro.
- 3 year(s): Experience in leading digital development projects including base understanding of UX/UI design process Education Preferred
- Bachelors or better in Computer Science or related field Skills Preferred
